A series of education institutions located on the left side of the Nistru became victims of bombs scares that turned out to be hoaxes in the morning of March 21. Information about the alleged planting of bombs was sent through email, IPN reports.
Such email messages were sent to almost all the schools, lyceums and colleges in Bender, Dubăsari, Rîbnița and Camenca ans also to the university and military college in Tiraspol.
The de facto ministry of home affairs of the Transnistrian region said alerts continue to come to the addresses of other education institutions. The senders say they will no longer tolerate “the Russian occupation” and demand “to liberate Transnistria”.
The Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnolesky said the responsible bodies are conducting checks, but none of the alerts has been confirmed so far. The punishment for such a deed will be severe. This time the alert authors decided to give a political undertone to the alerts, but they will not allow society to be divided on grounds of ethnicity.
