The author of the Chisinau – Moscow has been identified. The Info-Prim Neo correspondent, who was also evacuated from the Moscow – Chisinau train, said that, according to unofficial information, the phone from which the call was made was found in one the train’s front 5 cars. Additionally, the owner of the phone was also identified. It was a man, who supposedly drank alcoholic beverages during the night and was very noisy. The train’s passengers were evacuated without any panic spikes. The info on the bomb alert’s author has not yet been confirmed by the authorities. Vitalie Struna, general director of Moldovan Railways told Info-Prim Neo that the passenger of trains in both directions, i.e. Chisinau – Moscow and Moscow – Chisinau, were evacuated, because it was not clear from which train the call was made, also because the two trains were supposed to intersect eventually. Both trains’ locatives were detached immediately after the evacuation was over, in order to avoid the explosion of fuel tanks. Once the searches are over, the trains can get back to motion. At the moment of the news piece was posted, the trains already had a 4-hour delay. Each train had 900 passengers. The bomb alert was announced on Saturday, August 25, at about 5am. The train was stopped in the Valcinet region, Ocnita. According to preliminary investigations, the call was made from a number registered in Russia, but the police figured the caller had roaming activated, and upon dialing the emergency number the call was redirected to Ukraine, since the alarm’s author was close to the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.
