A large fire destroyed a storehouse situated on Industrială St in Ciocana district of Chisinau on October 10, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the flames engulfed an area of 200 square meters of the storehouse in which there are kept old TV sets and computers and also paint.
Seventy firefighters fought to contain the blaze. As they took swift action, they managed to bring it under control and to save the goods stored in the area affected by the fire and in the adjoining rooms.
The fire was put out in the afternoon of October 10. No one was hurt. The circumstances and causes of the accident and the damage are yet to be established.
