The Chisinau administration gave five days to the companies owning advertising billboards on Iurie Gagarin Blvd. to take them away. An order to this effect was made by Mayor General of Chisinau municipality Dorin Chirtoaca on August 1, IPN reports.
Under the order, all the authorizations to set up billboards issued to the given advertising agencies are annulled. The companies must remove the billboards at their own expense. If they do not comply, the billboards will be taken away by force by the Centru district head’s office, in concert with the district service providing municipal company.
The billboards on the mentioned road segment will be removed in order to lay out the area near the Railway Terminal.
