Bicyclist injured fatally in road accident

One day after a traffic accident in Speia, Anenii Noi resulted in the death of a bicyclist, another bicyclist aged 29 was killed in a road accident in the same district. Alexandru Cotet, senior inspector of the Anenii Noi Traffic Police, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened in Bulboaca village in the evening of on January 23. The young man was found by a police officer passing nearby. He was lying on the roadway and was still alive. The man was rushed to the hospital, but died shortly afterward. The driver who struck the bicyclist left the place of the accident. The case is investigated by the Anenii Noi Police Commissariat. Locals said the young man worked in a village nearby and was returning home when the tragedy happened. He left two children. One day earlier, a 58-year-old man died in a road accident in Speia. He was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a car. The man died on the spot.
