Better detention conditions for convicted women with children

5 women, who have children of up to three years, were placed in the sector meant for the sentenced mothers with children of the Medical Center of Penitentiary no. 7 – Rusca, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Department of Penitentiary Institutions (DPI). According to the DPI, the convicts will live with their children in renovated rooms, with hot water and heating, endowed with modern furniture, including furniture for children. The existence of such a sector, which corresponds to all international standards in the area, enables these convicts to bring up their children in conditions adequate for the children’s needs. A playground with the necessary inventory meant for children will be laid out in the near future. The sentenced mothers with children were previously detained in the Penitentiary Hospital no. 16 in Pruncul locality.
