Better conditions for children in risky situations

The Government approved the framework regulations concerning the organization of the social service Community House that is intended for children aged 10-18, who are deprived of family atmosphere and cannot be placed in the extended family, children’s homes, or with professional parent assistants, or proposed for adoption, Info-Prim Neo reports. The given service can be provided by social assistance and family protection divisions or private providers, if they are accredited in accordance with the legislation. The Community House can be set up by decision of the district or municipal council, at the request of the local social assistance service. The Community House service will be financed from the budgets of the territorial-administrative units of the first and second levels, the central budget of Gagauzia, special means and other sources. The personnel are paid in accordance with the law.
