The Moldovan students who are studying for their bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s degrees at a foreign university during the 2013/2014 academic year and the young people who graduated from such a institution in 2013 can file applications to take part in the Gala of Students Native of Moldova by December 1, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Education, the first edition of the festival will take place on January 4, 2014, under the auspices of the Moldovan Prime Minister Iurie Leanca.
The applications must be accompanied by a CV, a letter of reference and a letter of recommendation. Additional information and the application form are available on the website www.gala studentilor.md.
The participants will be selected by a jury consisting of famous people from the academic, institutional and business circles of Moldova. Prizes will be awarded in the categories: “Student of the Year in the United States and Canada”, “Student of the Year in Western Europe”, “Student of the Year in Central and Eastern Europa”, “Student of the Year in the Rest of the World,” and “Student of the Year Studying Abroad”.
