Alexandru Gatcan was named the best Moldovan footballer of 2016. The captain of FC Rostov won this title for the second year in a row and for the third time in his career, IPN reports.
Andrian Sosnovski was named the best coach. Under his guidance, Milsami Orhei finished on top the first half of the National Division season.
The best players in Moldova’s championship include goalkeeper Radu Mitu, fullback Veaceslav Posmac, halfback Gheorghe Andronic and striker Igor Bugaiov.
Current champion Sheriff Tiraspol became the team of the year, while Alexandru Tean was named as the best referee.
This year it was the 25th Moldovan Football Gala.
