The footballer of the national team of Burkina Faso Benjamin Balima returned to Sheriff. The 32-year-old halfback is one of the most popular players in the history of the team from Tiraspol, IPN reports.
Balima has played for Sheriff for 12 years and became Moldova’s champion for ten times. In 2009 he won the CIS Cup. He scored 53 goals in the National Division and needs two more goals to become the top scorer in the history of Sheriff.
On July 22, Sheriff meets Zimbru at home in the derby match of the third stage of the National Division. In the other matches, Dinamo-Auto plays Spicul, Sfantul Gheorghe - Petrocub, Milsami – Dacia, while Speranta - Zaria.
