Benefit for refugees this year will be 355 lei

The refugees and persons who benefit from humanitarian protection this year will receive allowances of 355 lei or 10% of the average monthly salary, Info-Prim Neo reports. Under a bill approved by the Government, the assistance is provided for a period of six months by order of the head of the Migration and Asylum Office of the Ministry of the Interior. The assistance is reimbursable if the beneficiaries will have incomes obtained on the territory of Moldova and non-reimbursable when the person will have no other sources of livelihood. In 2008-2010, such benefits were provided to three to nine persons.
