Bender Court of Appeals judge to stand trial

Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubco Tuesday started a legal case against the judge of the Bender Court of Appeals Nicolae Nogai, who legalized the sale of shares in BC Moldova-Agroindbank SA, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Prosecutor General’s Office. It became possible after the Supreme Council of Magistrates the same day gave its consent to investigating the judge, at the Prosecutor General’s request. Nicolae Nogai is accused of passing a court decision in breach of the law that had serious consequences. Valeriu Zubco ordered that the case be examined by the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office.
