Bender bakery complex risks being closed

After 45 years of work, the Bender bakery complex may be closed owing to the lack of raw material. The announcement was made by the company's director Valentin Caracaliuc, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the website of the news agency Olvia press.
“The economy ministry of the Moldovan Transnistrian Republic set limitd on the prices of bread and flour and allowed exporting wheat to Ukraine and Russia, which halted the export of grain. As a result, the Bender bakery complex is unable to buy wheat from Transnistria and does no more have flour to make bread,” said Valentin Caracaliuc.
The company's administration is conducting talks to be supplied with flour from Ukraine and Belarus so as to avoid a halt in its work, Valentin Caracaliuc added.
