Ignoring the elementary security norms, a man was on the brink of losing his life while executing electric works. Silvia Babara, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 42-year-old man from Braila village of the municipality of Chisinau went up an electric pole on Sunday evening to restore the power supply. Fortunately, he tied himself with a belt around the pole, which saved his life. He was electrocuted when he touched a cable, but the belt prevented his fall. The man was taken down by villagers. An ambulance took him to the Emergency Hospital. The scorching heat continues to affect the persons who suffer from cardiovascular diseases.
