In connection with the pandemic and before the holidays, it is important for the people to stick together and support those who go through a more difficult period from emotional viewpoint. Even if the person cannot be near with a hug, they can send a message of support to those who need by online means, Liuba Ceban, founder of the Green Line for Suicide Prevention, stated in an online press briefing, being quoted by IPN.
According to her, an important thing is for the people to remain near the persons for whom the current period is more difficult. To obtain elementary training on how to support a person, Liuba Ceban urged those interested to use materials and the experience of the Green Line’s counselors by visiting cursuri.mirt.md.
“Together we will overcome this pandemic. Together we will overcome the painful realities and the consequences of this pandemic. It is hard for us all as we cannot be near the dear ones on holidays. Even so, there is room for doing something good for us and the close relatives. On holidays, we can send a message of encouragement,” stated Liuba Ceban, calling on the people to think more about the way in which they can help other people to be confident.
Any person who needs emotional support can visit the website pentruviata.md, the anonymous chat, between 9pm and 11pm, from Monday through Friday, and talk to counselors of the Green Line.
