The MPs of the Bloc of Communist and Socialists left the May 5 sitting of Parliament in protest at the fact that a number of their proposals weren’t included in the agenda, IPN reports.

At the beginning of the sitting, the Communists and Socialists proposed excluding the bill to ratify the agreement with the U.S. government on the sale of the site of the former Republic Stadium and introducing an initiative that specifies anti-crisis support measures for citizens and businesses.

They also asked to question the director of the Security and Intelligence Service, the minister of defense and the minister of home affairs. Their proposals were all short of votes.

Secretary of the BCS group Vasile Bolea said the Parliament’s Regulations enable the MPs to put forward legislative proposals. This is not the first time that the initiatives proposed by BCS are rejected, not to mention the violation of the Parliament’s Regulations providing that the day of the opposition needs to be periodically organized.

After these statements, the BCS MPs left the assembly hall and the sitting continued with the PAS and Șor Party MPs.
