The Broadcasting Coordinating Council could move to the building of the former National Cinematography Centre, located on 50 Eminescu Street in Chisinau.
The Official Gazette of November 16 published an ordinance by Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev on the creation of a relevant working group. The group is to examine the situation on the spot and propose concrete measures.
BCC Chairman Gheorghe Gorincioi told Info-Prim Neo that the council needs larger space first of all in order to develop its monitoring centre, which is located at the moment in the BCC ceremonial hall, which is inconvenient. BCC needs an entire storey for arranging and equipping the Centre.
BCC Chairman complained that the Council doesn’t have any available adequate rooms for internal meetings and public sittings. At the same time, some BCC members have to work in offices of 8 sq m together with other two co-workers, Gorincioi said.
