BCC fails to approve Regulations on Management of Radiobroadcasters Support Fund

The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) postponed on Tuesday, March 20, the approval of the Regulations on Management of Radiobroadcasters Support Fund. The postponement was justified by the creation of a working group that will draw up the statute and Regulations regarding the fund’s management. It is for the second time that BCC has failed to approve these Regulations. The first time, it was postponed in early February for a re-examination and coordination with the Ministry of Finances. The respective Regulations describe the way of paying the tax for covering regulation-related expenses, deposited by the radiobroadcasters in the Radiobroadcasters Support Fund, as well as the management by BCC of the sources accrued in this Fund.
