The five battery-operated trolleybuses will start to run on route No.30 “Chisinau International Airport – Great National Assembly Square” on June 27. The trolleybuses will stop at all the public transport stations and the fare for a trip will be 2 lei. A trip from the center of Chisinau to the airport will last for about 30 minutes, IPN reports.
Head of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Gheorghe Morgoci, in the June 26 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, said the route will be launched in front of the City Hall at 9am, but the trolleybuses will usually set off from the station situation on Banulescu-Bodoni St, several meters upward from the monument to Stephan the Great. The trolleybuses on route No. 30 wil start to run at 6am. The last trolleybus from Chisinau will set off at 10:50pm, while from the airport at 11:20pm. The timetable will be placed in both of the termini.
Also, bus route “A” “Airport – Vatra town” is canceled as of June 27 and is replaced by the bus route No. 20 “31 august 1989 St – Vatra town”.
