A batch of eggs from the poultry company Dant Agro SRL is being pulled from shelves because of salmonella contamination, the Food Safety Agency announced.

The batch was marketed during Novermber 22-29 and had the expiration date on December 28. Anyone who has bought eggs from this batch are encouraged to return them to the respective retailer, being entitled to a full refund.

Operators marketing non-compliant products are responsible for recalling them from the market and must cooperate with the Agency to avoid or minimize the risks posed by such unsafe products.
