Moldova’s basketball women’s U16 national team today will play their first game in the European Championship taking place in Macedonia, IPN reports.
Playing in Division B, the “Tricolors” will meet Belgium. Other division contenders also include, Slovenia, Ireland, Ukraine and the host nation Macedonia.
The championship final will be played on August 26.
Last week, the Moldovan women’s Under 18 team came on the penultimate place in the European Championship. The girls coached by Natalia Paciu Dolgan were able to sweeten their eight defeats with one victory.
