The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency sequestered a bank account with about 5 million lei in it in a case of appropriation. The Agency said that it has been examining 173 applications concerning 121 criminal cases featuring 278 subjects, IPN reports.
Besides recovering criminal assets, the National Anticorruption Center also centered on other directions, such as prevention of corruption. The Analytical Division compiled three operational analysis reports and is conducting another 113 operational analyses.
Also, the Anticorruption Assessment and Legislation Division received 32 draft normative documents for assessment and sent ten examination repots and six appraisals to the authors, with 43 drafts being considered.
