The Ungheni - Bălți - Slobozia - Ungheni train route was halted today, July 26. The information was confirmed for IPN by the director of Moldova’s Railways Oleg Tofilat.
According to the director, the locomotive is broken and can no longer be used. The price of tickets bought in advance will be refunded.
Oleg Tofilat said the route was not in demand. The train that ran on this route was of diesel D1 type.
