Balti faces shortage of ballots

The Balti District Electoral Council reported a deficit of 487 ballot papers, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Central Election Commission’s secretary Iurie Ciocan said he asked to thoroughly analyze the situation as he considers the ballots sent to this council were miscounted. He said that after documentation, the Commission will release the necessary number of ballots.
As many as 2 809 617 ballots have been printed for the November 28 early legislative elections. 2 112 582 of them are in the official language, while 697 035 in Russian.
