Young Moldovan ballerina Alexandrina Sandu finished second in the final of the Dance World Cup that is held in Portugal’s Braga, securing this way a silver medal, IPN reports.
Out of 7,500 contenders from 50 countries, Alexandrina Sandu, who is trained by Anastasia Homitskaya, prima ballerina of the National Opera House “Maria Bieșu”, managed to join the best ten dancers of the world.
Dance World Cup is a competition that involves also the U.S., Japan, and China. It is taking place between June 30 and July 8, 2023. The competition is intended primarily for dancers aged between 5 and 25.
