Bailiffs will have access to electronic information system

The Ministry of Justice will receive €9,000 for designing an electronic system for informing the bailiffs and for working out an appropriate normative framework for ensuring its functioning within the Rule of Law Program South East Europe, Info-Prim Neo reports. An agreement to this effect was signed with Konrad Adenauer Foundation that manages the program. According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Justice, the new information system will be designed based on the systems used in the Baltic states, where they form a centralized database for monitoring the relevant cases and for accessing the existing electronic registers. Officials of the Ministry said that this way there will be solved a series of problems related to the creation and keeping of archives of execution documents, their traceability, the flow of information on paper, and slow communication Konrad Adenauer Foundation is one of the main donors that provide assistance to support the reform in the justice sector of Moldova. The Rule of Law Program South East Europe aims to support the building and strengthening of democracy in the countries of the region.
