The end-users who have debts for heat have been visited by bailiffs and representatives of the creditor. According to a communiqué from the public utility SA Termocom, some of the debtors were given extra time to settle the debts. Otherwise, they will remain without possessions, IPN reports.
Seven persons with debts preferred to fully clear the debts for heat and the bailiff’s commission, two persons paid partially the debts, while over 35 persons were warned that they must repay the debts within 10 days.
Under the legislation, the bailiff can sequestrate the property or money of the debtors and ban them from performing certain acts or ban other persons from transmitting goods to the debtors.
