The Baccalaureate session started today with the exam in the Romanian language and literature for other language speaking students. On this occasion, President Maia Sandu transmitted a message to the students, wishing them good luck, IPN reports.

“If you attended classes and did your homework, I’m sure you will successfully pass all the exams! I know that you want to get high grades, but it is more important to leave school with the habit to learn. Develop this habit in you. The capacity to learn throughout life will help you in a world that is changing swiftly. Good luck in the Baccalaureate exams! I have confidence in you!”, said President Sandu.

The Baccalaureate session 2022 involves 18,603 students, as opposed to 16,773 students in 2021. Out of these, 2,103 are candidates from previous classes.

The next exam, in the language of study, is sat on June 7.

The national Baccalaureate exams are taken at 93 centers, 31 of which are in the municipality of Chisinau. The Baccalaureate session is held during June 3-21.
