The other-language speaking high school graduates took the first Baccalaureate exam, in the Romanian language, on June 2. Both students and officials of the Assessment and Examination Agency said there were witnessed no incidents or violations, Info-Prim Neo reports. The first exam was taken by over 6,000 students at 104 Baccalaureate centers. The three hours were enough to answer the three questions, Aliona Tiligus, a student of the Chisinau-based high school “A.S. Pushkin”, said after the exam. She said they studied more Mihai Eminescu's work at school and was surprised to see questions about the work of Grigore Vieru and Ion Druta in the test. “I'm glad that the first exam is over. I hope I will pass successfully all the other exams,” she said. Another student, Dumitru Sochirca from Tiraspol, said nobody tried to cheat in the exam. There were 25 students in the classroom who were supervised by four teachers. “The test wasn't complicated. If you study all the 12 years, the Baccalaureate exams seem easy to you,” the student said. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the deputy head of the Assessment and Examination Agency Valentina Miron said the exam took place without violations and deviations. Before the exam, Minister of Education Leonid Bujor wished the students good luck and accomplishments. His speech was broadcast on the radio. The next Baccalaureate, in the language of study, will be taken by over 30,000 candidates on June 7.
