The Baccalaureate exams during the basic session were passed by 53.95% of the candidates. This year, only one candidate got grades of ten in all the exams. As many as 172 students have an average grade of 9 or higher, while 1,316 students – of 8 or higher, IPN reports.

In a press beefing, the director of the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment Anatol Topala said that 51 students were not allowed to take the exams because they were caught cheating or with banned objects on them. In 2015, this figure stood at 59.

On June 27 and 28, each candidate will be able to see their graded test papers on www.bac.edu.md with the assistance of a password that they will get from the education institution where they studied. Challenges can be filed during 48 hours, until June 28, 6pm.

The final results, after the examination of challenges, will be made public on July 6. The candidates who failed one or several exams can sit the exams again during the additional Baccalaureate session on July 18-25. For the purpose, the young people must submit a written application to the Baccalaureate centers where they took the exams during the basic session on July 6 and 7.
