Baccalaureate exams set off

The other-language speaking students who completed the twelfth grade will take the Romanian language exam on Wednesday, June 2. The over 6,000 students are expected at 104 Baccalaureate centers, the deputy head of the Assessment and Examination Agency Valentina Miron has told Info-Prim Neo.
A number of 209 Baccalaureate centers were opened all over the country. About 30,000 high school students will take Baccalaureate exams this month.
The exam papers are kept in banks. The students will be allowed to have only a blue pen, while at the geography exam the map as well. “The children will be banned from entering the classroom with mobile phones, computers, notes, additional literature and other sources of information,” Valentina Miron said.
The exams will start at 9.00 and will last for three hours. The candidates will seat by one at the desk, according to their names listed in alphabetical order. The number of students in a classroom will not be higher than 20. The candidates will be supervised by two teachers.
The students who will not take an exam will seat it again in a year. Those who will not be satisfied with the grade, can challenge it during 48 hours.
The high school graduates will take four Baccalaureate exams, while the other-language speakers by one more – the Romanian language exam.
The exam in the language of study will take place on June 7, while the foreign language exam on June 10. On June 14, the students from sciences classes will take the math exam, while those from humanities classes – the geography exam. The last exam, of one's choice, will be taken on June 17.
