Only the Baccalaureate exams at the High School of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova will be supervised by video cameras this year.
Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb, head of the Chisinau Division of Education, Youth and Sport, has told Info-Prim Neo that this subject was discussed with psychologists and parents so as to see if the students will not be stressed out. According to her, the students learn well and have good results at international Olympiads and thus should not worry.
Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said the given practice may be extended to other institutions in the future, but this depends on how the process will develop at the mentioned high school.
There will be 33 Baccalaureate centers in the municipality of Chisinau. As last year, the students will take the exams in other institutions than where they study. However, the Baccalaureate center will be not far from their schools. The supervisors will be from the institution where the exams will take place. The tests will be personalized, while the papers will be graded in national assessment centers.
A number of 6,983 high school students will take Baccalaureate exams in the municipality of Chisinau this year, as against 6,500 last year.
