Baby hurt in traffic accident

Four persons, including a baby, were injured in road accidents in Chisinau on August 12. According to the General Police Commissariat and the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, the first accident occurred on Costiujeni St at about 8.00. A Renault driven by a 40-year-old man ran into a Volkswagen-Golf and then into a Nissan Primera. A female passenger of the Renault aged 31 received injuries. At approximately 12.00, a car collided with a minibus at the intersection of 31 August and Serghei Lazo streets. Two occupants of the minibus sustained injuries. A baby girl aged only 2 months suffered brain concussion, while a 50-year-old woman – contusion of the thorax. Both have been taken to hospital. At the intersection of the streets Bucuresti and Vlaicu Parcalab, a car crashed into a motorbike driven by a man aged 59. The man suffered a knee contusion.
