Baby hurt in road accident

A car driven by a minor struck a carriage with a baby in it at a parking lot situated near a supermarket on Moscova Blvd. in Chisinau. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Evelina Rusu has told Info-Prim Neo that the baby sustained bruises and, possibly, a concussion. A 31-year-old woman was taken to the Emergency Hospital with hand wounds. She told the doctors she was stabbed by her husband when she tried to protect herself during an attack. The police are investigating the case. A man aged 27 died in a minibus that was to take him home. Allegedly, he suffered a heart attack. A 20-year-old man was found intoxicated with drugs in a bar situated on Pushkin St. The Chisinau ambulance teams on September 2 dealt with 685 emergencies, including 76 cases of acute viral infection, 15 cases of pneumonia, 70 cases of trauma, four strokes, and 23 deliveries.
