Baby abandoned on apartment building stairs

A baby boy aged about two months was abandoned by his mother on the stairs of an apartment building in Chisinau's Ciocana district. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the boy was found on Wednesday evening. The ambulance called by the dwellers took him to the Municipal Children's Hospital No. 1 . The child is healthy and well dressed. He was left in a clean place, near the nicest doors. The police are looking for his mother. A 33-year-old woman ignored the traffic rules and was hit by a train. She received a cranial-cerebral trauma and several minor injuries. On Wednesday, the Chisinau Ambulance Service recorded 820 calls, dealing with 96 cases of acute viral infection, 14 cases of flu, 59 cases of trauma, ten strokes and a myocardial infarction.
