The average nominal gross salary this September was 5,170.6 lei, up 10.1% on last September, IPN has learned from the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the budget-funded sector, the average monthly pay this September was 4,236.8 lei, an increase of 8% on last September, while in the real sector was 5,555.8 lei, up 10.8%.
In real terms, which is compared with the consumer price index, the average salary rose by 6.9% on last year.
In agriculture, the average pay was 3,745.3 lei, in education – 4,115.0 lei, in health and social assistance – 4,909.5 lei, in the building sector – 5,344.5 lei, in industry – 5, 455.6 lei, while in the ICT sector – 12,900.1 lei.
