Average salary in October close to 3,000 lei

The average monthly salary in fish-breeding, agriculture and forestry is by about 4,500 lei lower than in the banking sector, where in October it was over 6,000 lei, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the National Bureau of Statistics, Info-Prim Neo reports. The average pay of a national economy worker in January-October was 2,910 lei, up 7.9% in nominal terms compared with the corresponding period last year. The real salary remained practically at the same level as last year. In the budgetary sphere, the average salary was 2,526 lei. The average pay in the national economy last month was 2,957 lei, an increase of 10% compared with last October. The real salary rose by about 2%.
