Moldova's average monthly salary in Q-2008 rose to 2,457.9 lei, up 25 percent on the similar period last year, which translates into a 9.2 percent rise in real terms, the National Statistics Bureau reported, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
In the public sector, the average salary was 1,902.1 lei, and in the private sector 2,746.8 lei. The average payroll of a Moldovan for September stated 2494.4 lei.
Compared to September 2007, the average monthly wage rose by 17 percent.
