Avantul has won a new trophy in beach soccer. After winning Moldova’s Cup, the team trained by Vasile Arlet also emerged victorious in the Super Cup of Moldova, IPN reports.
Avantul beat current champion Djoker 3-1 in the penalty shootout after the normal period of the game ended by 4-4. Djoker led two times, but was every time tied. The goals for the winner were scored by Florea (twice), Eremia and Schiopu. Iordachi, Sirghi, Negara and Frolov scored for Djoker.
This year, Djoker has become Moldova’s beach soccer champion for the fifth consecutive time.
