The lawmaker of the Communist Party of Moldova (PCRM) Iurie Muntean, the party’s executive secretary, said all the representatives of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) want things to heat up so that this autumn is as ‘hot’ as possible. Iurie Muntean has told Info-Prim Neo that the ruling alliance wants to show who the power belongs to. The Communist MP said the autumn will be probably full of events, but it will be the government that will bear responsibility for all the consequences. “Some members of the alliance consider they have not enough power, while other members think they are too much controlled by the others. The responsibility for the results is borne by the administration. The opposition showed civic and political responsibility, making different suggestions for overcoming the crisis and putting forward different bills, but the present government was unable to understand what the opposition proposed. They bear overall responsibility,” said Iurie Muntean. He also said that the autumn will be ‘hot’ also because of the disintegration processes that will take place inside the AEI. “The alliance was destroyed long ago, but all its members are looking for reasons to withdraw decently from it,” he stated. The leader of the PCRM Vladimir Voronin and Communist MPs Igor Dodon and Sergiu Sarbu said earlier that the autumn is expected to be ‘hot. Iurie Muntean said society is yet to see how the autumn will be, but only the ruling politicians will be responsible for some of the possibly ‘hot’ events.
