The autumn session of Parliament is opened on September 1. Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grechanyi on August 26 signed the order to convoke Parliament for the ordinary autumn session of 2020, IPN reports.
According to the legislature’s press service, the Standing Bureau will set the date of the first plenary sitting of the autumn session after the agenda is drafted.
Under the legislative body’s regulations, Parliament had two ordinary sessions a year. The autumn session starts in September and ends in December. The spring session is opened in February and is closed at the end of July at the latest.
