Automated register of radio stations to be set up in Moldova

Moldova will have an automated information system called “State Register of Radio Frequencies and Stations”, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a Government Decision. The system will enable to collect and update the information about radio frequencies and stations, will contribute to the prevention of perturbations, and will create possibilities for informational interaction and cooperation within interstate and international information exchange. Minister of Information and Communication Technology Alexandru Oleinic said the radio frequencies and stations will be registered and the information about users included in the system on the basis of official documents and by ensuring data protection. The State Register of Radio Frequencies and Stations will be created with the own resources of the institutions managed by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, which will run the given system.
