Auto sound quality contest organized for the first time at „Auto-Motor Show” exhibition

The driver of an Audi A6 Avant, Oleg Solari won the Grand Prix – a set of acoustic equipment for cars, at the “Auto-Sound” contest, which took place within the frameworks of “Auto-Motor Show” Exhibition. Over 50 cars, including from Transnistria participated in “Auto-Sound” contest, which was organized for the first time in Chisinau. They contested in 3 categories: quality and intensity of sound and originality of audio sets. The winners of the contest for the most original audio system are Alexandru Haciturean, driving a Nissan Terrano, Alexandru Turcanu (BMW 730) and Eugen Pavlovschi (BMW 530). Awards for the best quality of sound were given to a Honda Accord, belonging to a young man Radu, who did not want to disclose his surname, Mercedes Benz W140 of Mihail Cuclev and Mazda 323 belonging to Iurie Belcencov. At the sound intensity category the following winners were designated: Alexandru Malai (Nissan Sunny break), Tudor Druta (Mitsubishi Outlander) and Denis Tomai (Mazda 626). At this category a maximum volume of 119.5 decibels was registered, which corresponds to the sound produced by a pneumatic hammer at maximum power. Acoustic measures were performed in front of the spectators in order to confirm the validity of the results. Organizers of the contest “Auto-Sound” are “Auto-Expert” magazine, Claxon Company and “Poliproject Exhibitions”. According to the organizers the contest aimed at promoting audio novelties in the auto world. “Auto-Motor Show” Exhibition took place at “Moldexpo” International Exhibition Center during September 28 – October 1.
