The person who phoned the police on February 18 and informed that the head office of Lukoil Moldova had been mined has not been yet found, Info-Prim Neo reports. In Monday’s meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, municipal police chief Silviu Musuc said the author of the January 28 false bomb alarm at the Botanica district court hasn’t been identified either. The author of the first bomb scare this year at the Trade Unions House was found. Silviu Musalso said that the persons who commit such acts are liable to a fine of 4,000 to 10,000 lei or up to two years’ imprisonment. But they should also cover the costs of about 10,000 lei incurred in such cases, when the specialized services inspect the place, as well as the costs sustained by the involved economic entity. Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca recommended the municipal police chief to propose relevant amendments to the legislation. There had been nine false bomb alarms in 2010. The authors in eight of the cases were identified and punished. In most of the cases, the culprits were fined 4,000 to 10,000 lei. In the case of the minor authors, the parents paid fines of 200 to 400 lei.
