After Parliament votes in favor, the environment authorization for the special use of water will be obtained from one-stop offices. This is provided in a bill to amend the Law on Water and other legal acts that was approved by the Government, IPN reports.
Minister of the Environment Gheorghe Salaru said the initiative was put forward by a group of MPs. If the relevant changes are adopted, the Water Agency, the Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources, the Pisciculture Service, the National Food Safety Agency and other involved authorities will coordinate between them the conditions for the special use of water, while those interested will apply for an authorization only to one authority.
The bill specifies the documents that the applicants need to present to obtain an authorization.
