Authorities have drafted the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of Agroindustrial Sector

The central authorities have already worked out a draft of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Agroindustrial Sector. At a governmental meeting, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Anatolie Gorodenco said that under the conception, the strategy will centre on five directions: the current situation in the agroindustrial sector and the SWOT analysis, the sustainable development objectives in the agroindustrial sector, the policies designed to achieve these objectives, the best indices in the sustainable development of the agroindustrial sector. Also, the strategy will be accompanied by a plan of action for implementing its stipulations. Gorodenco said that the conception was worked out in consultation with the Academy of Sciences, social partners, NGOs in the area and international experts. The working group has studied the best practices of other states with the aim of learning from their experience.
