The Interministerial Committee for Strategic Planning approved the bill to put into practice the Association Agreement with the European Union in the areas of labor force, social inclusion and migration. The project has a budget of €5 million and will be implemented during four years, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué of the Government, the bill is aimed at strengthening the institutional capacities of the public authorities responsible for developing the labor market, promoting efficient employment and social inclusion policies and measures, improving the social dialogue on the labor market and ensuring a positive impact of migration on the country’s development.

Until now, Moldova has implemented two projects in the field, within the Moldova – European Union Mobility Partnership. The first, carried out in February 2012, resulted in the launch of Labor Force Migration software. The second project is under implementation. It continues and complements the first project. Both of the projects are put into practice with the support of the Swedish Public Employment Service.
