The 24-year-old man who committed the triple homicide in Unguri village of Ocnița district was sentenced to 30 years behind bars. The crime was committed at the home of one of the victims in the evening of December 21, 2021, IPN reports, quoting the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The victims were aged 39, 43 and, respectively, 63. The offender stabbed the men with a knife and then set the house on fire. Two carbonized bodies were found inside, while the third body with signs of violent death was found in the yard.
The culprit was discovered inebriated in a forest near Călărașeuca village of Ocnița district. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
