Austria willing to open Embassy in Moldova

The Austrian authorities are wiling to open, until the end of this year, the Embassy of Austria in Chisinau, Austria’s Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ursula Plassnik, said yesterday. During the official inauguration of the Common Application Centre within the Hungarian Embassy, the Austrian Minister emphasised that, depending on Moldova’s progress in implementing the EU-Moldova Action Plan, the European Commission is willing to draw up a new document, a more ample one, which would replace this plan. Minister Ursula Plassnik has highly appreciated the opening of the Common Application Centre. It is considered as a pilot project of the European Union and represents an important and encouraging political European signal for the efforts of Moldova’s European integration, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration announces, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
