Austria will offer Moldova assistance in training young specialists in agriculture and road building, chairman of the Austrian Association for Foreign Policy Wolfgang Schussel said in a meeting with Prime Minister Iurie Leanca in Chisinau, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Government, the two officials discussed Moldova’s European prospects and the support that Austria can provide in this respect. “The Republic of Moldova needs support at geopolitical level. Austria’s assistance is a step forward and represents an additional chance for Moldova to come as close to the EU as possible,” stated the Premier.
Iurie Leanca and Wolfgang Schussel discussed the current state of the Transnistrian conflict settlement talks, the attraction of investments and the justice sector reform. The Prime Minister accepted Swedish official’s invitation to presentMoldova’s European prospects in a meeting of the Austrian Association for Foreign Policy.
